senior socials
Starts again in January 2012! Saturdays at 1pm starting on Jan. 21Why be alone in your quest to do what is best for your older dog?
We hope to build a community of like-minded dog guardians/owners by having an hourly session at The Rex Center. Dogs are welcome too!
Hot tea provided for you, and cookies for your pooch!
Each week we will talk about something new and/or have a guest speaker. Think "book club" without the mandatory reading!
Winter 2012 Topic Schedule
- Jan 21 - Lizanne Flynn will talk about Animal Communication. The goal in animal communication (or more accurately “inter-species communication”) is for sentient beings of different species (animal and human) to share their honest thoughts and feelings with each other about their relationship.
- Lizanne will offer two private animal communication sessions at 2pm and 3pm for $60. Please contact us for an appointment.
- Jan 28 - Natalie Bayless will show everyone a "Doggy Gym" routine that will help with older dog strength and general training. Teaching your senior dog new tricks is good for maintaining cognitive ability.
- Feb 4 - Rev. Jacqueline René Pace discusses and demonstrates flower essences for emotional well-being
- Feb 11 - Joni Kamlett, RVT talks about whole food supplements by SP Naturals that you can obtain from your vet!
